Since the fourth century A.C. the Celts (Lepontini) were growing the vineyards in our area and were the first to use oak barrels for storing and aging wine; to them we dedicate this precious expression of the viticulture of the High Piedmont area. Our Nebbiolo remains in large oak barrels for 18 months.
VINE VARIETY: Nebbiolo 100%
CULTIVATION SYSTEM: Renewed vine-shoot (Guyot), grass regeneration, limited organic fertilization.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% vol.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Ruby red colour with shades of orange, with a rich and persuasive, yet ample and mellow bouquet, while pleasantly bitter and velvety on the palate.
AGING PERIOD: 7 – 8 years and longer
