GRAPE VARIETAL: 100% Aglianico Irpinia
VINIFICATION: The grapes are carefully selected in the vineyards and in the winery, then they are softly crushed. The process of fermentation is checked through a next-generation technology wine machine. Aging is developed in new French oak barrels and new tonneaux (siller) for 12-18 months; micro-oxygenation may occur during this practice. Then lastly aged in bottle for at least 2 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC DESCRIPTION: Deeply garnet-red colored, this wine has elegant flavors, smelling of fruits and flowers. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, balanced, and compact with a pleasing mouthfeel and long finish.
GASTRONOMIC SUGGESTION: You can pair this wine especially with local specialties like sopressata, mogliatelli, vegetable soups, pork, beans, cornbread, and mature cheeses.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% – 15% vol.
